Mexico detains 10 Immigration Agents
Mexico's interior department says federal prosecutors have detained 10 Mexican immigration agents and three airline workers posted at the Cancun international airport on suspicion of Chinese migrant trafficking.
The department says in a statement that the agents, two Mexicana Airlines employees and a Livingston Air worker, allegedly allowed Chinese citizens into the country with false passports. It said Tuesday the arrests were part of an investigation that resulted in the detention of 26 immigration agents at Cancun's airport in January.
