Vice Minister Margarita Escobar, Consul General Oscar Landaverde, and Director General Ernesto Nosthas express thanks to some of the staff and volunteers who have helped in the campaign to re-register people with the TPS so that they can work legally in the United States. 

The Salvadoran government has built a bridge to the people here in the United States through the foreign ministry and the embassy.

Later in the evening there was a gathering of over a hundred staff members, volunteers, and friends as a barbeque was prepared by the staff.
